Our goal is to create an opportunity for Sundre, to invest in Sundre. To pool local money together and invest in various projects that will ultimately create a sense of Economic Stewardship in our community. We exist to support and encourage community entrepreneurs and new economic development.

WHY SIGC?
It is a well known fact that Locally owned Business has the greatest positive impact to their communities, through local investments in employees, suppliers and social programs. Our investments drive the diversification and sustainability of our economy right here in Sundre and the surrounding area.

Co-operatives are member-owned and democratically controlled. They start when a group of people see a need or an opportunity in their community and with the right vision and support they grow and evolve with the members they serve. The Sundre Investment Group Cooperative was created to bridge the gap between investors and entrepreneurs in our community. The SIGC provides a return on Investment to its members. We are a registered Investment Cooperative with the Alberta Securities Commission and Incorporated with the Province of Alberta.
